The purpose of this site is to raise awareness of wildfowling activities on the River Forth between the points of the Forth road bridge and Alloa to encourage wildfowlers to join the club and be associated with the BASC (British association for shooting and conservation), of which this club is affiliated. The river is host to many ducks and geese through the winter roosting in the evening and flighting out to nearby areas at dawn. The wildfowler tries to put him or herself under the flight path of these magnificent birds and bag a few of them as they fly out overhead. Wildfowling can be a dangerous sport due to esturine mud and tide, please be aware of this when venturing onto the shore.
Below is a digital image of the Forth stretching and winding it’s way to the estuary, you will find more pictures and information throughout the site.
Please feel free to browse the site. Any questions or membership enquiries can be made via the E-mail link to the secretary.
